Aid Stations

There are aid stations supplying water, Tailwind, chips and lollies every 4km (approx). See the course map for exact distances and positions of aid stations. Tailwind provides all the electrolytes and energy you need for a marathon. It’s a good idea to use Tailwind in training before to ensure you’re used to it.

Note: There will be no cups at the aid stations, you will be provided with your own reusable, collapsible silicone cup as part of your race pack.

Your reusable cup and race number are the only two pieces of required ‘kit’. There will be marshals with jugs of water ready to refill your cups as you go past. You may just need to slow down a wee bit!

You are welcome to take a running vest/belt with soft flasks etc if you wish.
